I struggle deciding what type of coat Abyssinian cats have because the differences are quite subtle. This beautiful cat so beautifully captured photographically is probably a sorrel Abyssinian. The coat texture is very noticeable despite the fact that I have reduced the image file size which in turn reduces the image quality slightly to improve page load times. The Abyssinian is a very popular cat. The breed has remained in the top 5 for a very long time. It is a very elegant breed of cat. The coat is an agouti ticked tabby. The coat glows. A well known cat show judge says that the Abyssinian is a performer at cat shows meaning a bit of a show-off.
