A beautiful Birman cat picture by Helmi Flick. This is a red (flame) pointed cat. The pointing is very subtle. This is the descendant of the Burmese temple cat, the Sacred Cat of Burma. There is quite a lot of mystery and legend in the history! Make of it what you will. The history could be different; French breeders creating a hybrid cat breed, perhaps. Who knows? This is a pointed cat with "self", tortie and tabby pointing. White paws and blue eyes are the trademarks of the Birman. This is a well-built particolored, pointed purebred cat. A friendly, reserved cat. See another Birman cat picture, of Angel. Click here to read and see more.
